HEARTDISDIAGTR indicates whether the respondent received medical treatment for heart disease (heart attack or angina/chest pains) at the time of the diagnosis.

HEARTDISDIAGTR is a country-specific variable for most DHS phases. In Phase 8, the standard variable CHD12 is included in an optional module on chronic disease.
