For women who gave birth in the five years before the survey, and whose last-born child was born in a health facility and received a health check before discharge, PNBABCKHFWHO_01 (M76_1) reports who conducted the child's postnatal health check. The harmonized coding categories in the IPUMS-DHS variable PNBABCKHFWHO_01 were constructed to reflect the major and minor categories in the original DHS variable (M76_1). The major categories are:
- 1000: Health professionals
- 2000: Other person
The second, third, and fourth digits of PNBABCKHFWHO_01's codes distinguish between specific locations and provide detail present in only some samples.
