Description

TBSYMPCOFLNG indicates whether the woman reported, in response to an open-ended question, that persistent coughing (for several weeks) was a symptom of tuberculosis. The similar variables TBSYMPCOF and TBSYMPCOFSPU refer, respectively, to "cough" and "cough with sputum" as symptoms of tuberculosis.
