Description

GEO_TD2004 (V101_TD2004) reports the region of Chad where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2004 Chad survey are equivalent to groups of regions labeled as zones.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There is also an integrated variable, GEO_TD2004_2014, that provides spatially consistent units over time.

Regions in GEO_TD2004 are grouped into zones. Below are the Zones and the corresponding regions from the published report.
