Description

HCFNE5 indicates whether the woman reported a public health center as a source for female condoms. This response category is country-specific to Niger.

Some samples in the "HCF" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCFNE5 is combined with HCFNE4 (public integrated health center) in HCFPUBHC (all public health centers) for the 2012 Niger sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using HCFNE5 are encouraged to review HCFPUBHC for a more comprehensive response category.
